With the Assistant Store Manager reporting to the Store Manager this role is responsible for assisting in all aspects of running the store, including:
- Maintaining customer care standards,
- Achieving sales, wages and shrinkage budgets,
- Human resource development issues and staff supervision.
- Attendance and organisation of merchandising workshops Management of the store stocktake process
- Preparation of monthly rosters costed to achieve the store budgets
- Stock management - including unpacking, processing and movement of stock, ensuring refills are actioned promptly and accurately
- Supporting the State Manager to ensure store and company objectives are achieved, in line with financial and operational targets
